The Dilly Launches new ‘London’ Afternoon Tea
The Dilly hotel sits in the heart of London – Piccadilly Circus. The hotel is within walking distance to theatreland, Carnaby Street, Fortnum & Mason, the Royal Academy and more. It is fitting that the new theme for the afternoon tea is London.
The name of the hotel is taken from its central London location and the hotel is proud to say, ‘We Are London.’ This London pride can be seen throughout the hotel from printed maps of London wallpaper in the bedrooms to the use of London suppliers where possible from the hotel amenities by Floris, to the Camden Town Brewery beer served at the bar and using the local Smithfield butcher to supply the restaurant.
Head Pastry Chef, Geness Tross has taken inspiration from classic London icons such as Big Ben, black taxis and the London Underground for the new London themed afternoon tea. The tea is served at Terrace at The Dilly, a light-filled day room which is home to the only outdoor balcony overlooking Piccadilly and will delight all the family members with its themed treats. There is a separate adult and children’s menu to choose from.
