The Body Ballancer Review: Advanced Massage Technology For A Slimmer Waist & Brighter Skin
I zipped myself into a £12K spacesuit that rhythmically compressed my body for one week on the promise of reduced cellulite, weight loss, glowing skin, and overall better health. Here’s what happened.
First of all, let me explain what the Body Ballancer® AKA the ‘spacesuit’ is all about. Essentially, it’s a pair of inflatable trousers that fit snugly just beneath the chest and extend far past your toes. It contains 24 individual air chambers that overlap to deliver compression strokes that mimick lymphatic drainage massage —or lymph drainage therapy.
What Is Lymphatic Massage & Why Is It Important?
The reason this type of massage is so important is due to the extensive role the lymphatic system plays in your health, such as:
Being a part of the immune system it protects the body by destroying viruses and infection removing disease-causing bacteria, toxin buildup, dead cells, and other waste materials.
Absorbing fats and proteins from the digestive tract transporting them to your bloodstream.
Collecting excess fluid from cells and tissue within the body and either recirculates it through the bloodstream or eliminates it.
Lymphatic drainage is a special technique of massage that, for all of the above reasons is highly beneficial for your health. You see, unlike the blood system, the lymphatic system has no muscular pump equivalent to the heart to move lymph fluid around the body. Instead, it relies on the movements and contractions of your muscles. Hence the importance of regular exercise!
Ordinary massage, such as therapeutic or aromatherapy use deep massage techniques to get into the muscular layer. But, lymph drainage uses very light, fluid movements to target the delicate lymphatic vessels and nodes that sit just below the surface of the skin.
If you’re not living a healthy lifestyle your lymphatic system can become compromised. This can lead to a range of issues, including tissue swelling, poor skin tone, excess weight, cellulite, headaches, joint pain, fatigue, and worse still disease.
Enter the Body Ballancer® whose vast benefits include reduced swelling caused by water retention, weight loss, reduced cellulite, improved skin tone, digestion, sleep, getting rid of toxins, improved body shape, less bloating, boosted immune system to help prevent illness and disease, and faster muscle recovery to aid with exercise.
My Results
Lymphatic massage for the face is something I recommend for all of my readers over on my beauty blog. It’s a staple step in my daily beauty routine that helps to decrease puffiness, dark circles, and purifying the skin.
I felt very privileged that Body Ballancer Systems Uk founder, Jules Willcocks allowed me to try the Body Ballancer out in the comfort of my own home.
The balancer had been preprogrammed for me, all I had to do was plug it in, hook it up, and zip myself in!
As instructed I put on a pair of leggings and a cotton t-shirt and in I got. I hit one of the four 45 minute programs and the suit began to gradually inflate. The robotic compression movements that squeezed slowly up and down my legs and lower torso felt both relaxing and strange.
After one session the only thing I really noticed was that it got rid of my water retention and bloating —you will likely run to the loo when you climb out!
On day two I had super sore muscles after a HIIT workout, and as promised, the Body Ballancer® helped to get that lactic acid moving and I climbed out of this session feeling like a new woman.
For the next five days, I zipped myself in and out of the Body Ballancer® each time noting my results. By the end of my trial, the cellulite on the back of my thighs had vanished, my waistline was down by an inch, my skin is glowing, and I definitely feel more shapely.
Could that last one be my imagination?
Nonetheless, this machine worked wonders for me. I felt utterly pampered having it in my home with access to jump in anytime I pleased!
