One of the highlights of our stay at Secana Beachtown was the delicious breakfast experience at The Grocer. This charming on-site café offers a huge number of options to satisfy everyone, with healthy choices being the primary target. We began our mornings with fresh tropical fruit, sour-dough toast and waffles, followed by a perfectly brewed cup of Balinese coffee that was rich and creamy.

Whether you’re craving a light smoothie bowl or a more hearty option like Eggs Benedict, The Grocer delivers fresh, high-quality ingredients. The avocado toast was another favourite for our health-conscious team. The relaxed ambience, coupled with the warm and attentive service, made for a perfect start to each day, after a great gym session of course!

The Rooftop Lounge

For dinner, the resort’s rooftop restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience. Overlooking the Indian Ocean in the distance provides a stunning view of the sunset, it is an ideal setting for a fabulous evening. The restaurant’s menu features a fusion of local and international cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients.

We were all particularly impressed by the fresh seafood offerings. The grilled prawns, served with a tangy Balinese sauce, were cooked to perfection, while the locally caught fish was a true testament to chef Anton’s culinary expertise. Not great wine drinkers we opted for a cocktail each for each evening which were as pretty as they were delicious.

The rooftop setting, combined with the excellent service, made for a truly unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re indulging in a romantic dinner or celebrating a special occasion, this restaurant is not to be missed.

As we arrived, the team were welcomed into a beautifully designed three-bedroom villa that provided both privacy and comfort. The townhouse-style layout gave ample space, making it ideal for groups of friends, or those simply seeking a luxurious getaway. Each bedroom and bathroom was thoughtfully designed, featuring plush bedding, Balinese-inspired accents, and large windows that invited plenty of natural light into the space.

The villa’s crown jewel was undoubtedly the private pool. Secluded and serene, it served as the perfect spot for a morning swim or an afternoon spent lounging in the sun. The surrounding terrace was furnished with comfortable sunbeds and it truly felt like a personal oasis, allowing for moments of peaceful relaxation.
