As the sports editor of Luxuria Lifestyle International, I am lucky enough to receive some really great golfing invites, like my recent trip to St Andrew’s with Fairmont Hotels.

When planning for this short break, including clothing for various UK weather conditions and booking my flight from London to Glasgow, I realised my current golf club flight travel cover was not going to make the grade, and I needed to quickly invest in a new one.

After some research on American Golf’s website, I carefully chose the new Wheeled Golf Travel Cover from Puma which arrived swiftly within 48 hours and certainly did not disappoint. With my love for F1, I knew the Puma brand was the supplier of the Mercedes team merchandise which was also of superb quality, so it was a name I trusted and liked.

My Review

The size, shape, and quality of my new Wheeled Golf Travel Cover were exactly what I was looking for and within my budget of around £100 – £125. The material was highly durable with oversized wheels, making it very easy to transport my clubs. The internal compartment was large with an additional pocket for my golf shoes and some waterproofs. The carry straps were well-balanced and the quality, look, and feel of the bag were more in line with a much more expensive product.

It has a large main compartment that will accommodate most golf bags sized 17” x 10.5” x 52”, with internal straps to secure your precious golf gear as you travel to your destination. As well as internal storage the cover has external pockets and ID cardholders. The cover has been made from durable hard-wearing materials and has multiple handles to ensure you can comfortably lift or carry it.

Overall I would score this product 9.5 out of 10 and definitely highly recommend it to my fellow golfers, especially with the large Puma branding which stands out when traveling on the airport turnstiles.
