Pan Pacific London: Innovation and luxury in the heart of the city

Pan Pacific London takes innovation and understated luxury to new heights with sincere Singaporean hospitality at its core. The hotel brings together a balanced blend of architecture, contemporary design and cutting-edge technology, alongside boundary-pushing holistic well-being. Also offering a varied selection of exciting destination restaurants and bars, Pan Pacific London is the ultimate location for classic yet accessible luxury.

Location

Situated in the landmark tower at One Bishopsgate Plaza, the hotel is ideally placed for many of the City’s key attractions from shopping in Spitalfields Market and the Barbican cultural hub through to cosmopolitan and buzzing Shoreditch. Comprising old and new London architecture, the Bishopsgate Plaza features a modern 43-storey bronze tower encompassing Pan Pacific London and private Sky Residence apartments, and the 144-year-old Devonshire House, connected via a landscaped public plaza.

Rooms and suites

Each of the 237 guest rooms has been designed to exude elegance and tranquillity and provide the ultimate escape from the city. With unrivalled attention to detail, curved walls and neutral palettes welcome guests into the rooms, whilst custom headboards act as personalised art pieces, adding a layer of calm through the depiction of oak, elder, elm and maple trees. Accessories introduce small bursts of colour and organic forms to reinforce the tonal and tranquil nature of each guest room, and a curated collection of books telling endless stories of plants, flowers and gardens reflects the hotel’s design ethos that is centred around the rainforests of Singapore and the woodlands of Britain.

Creating a soothing environment to read, unwind and sleep, the innovative ChiliSleep™ Ooler Sleep Cooling System is available on request to aid better sleep via temperature regulation. Yoga mats and on-demand virtual yoga sessions as well as Diptyque toiletries, a Dyson hairdryer, and hot and cold minibar items including a Nespresso machine also ensure guests’ well-being.

For one of the best views in London and the ultimate in luxury, the Presidential Suite sits in the clouds on level 19 and enjoys panoramic views across London’s sprawling city metropolis with a bird’s eye view of one of the City’s most recognisable landmarks, The Gherkin.

A stay in the Presidential Suite comes complete with a butler service and standout features including a lounge and dining area, private study, dressing room, marble bathroom with heated floor, and luxurious Diptyque amenities.

For the whole family, Double Double Rooms are generous in size, with two queen-size beds making bedtime a luxurious experience for children and parents alike. Mini bathrobes, slippers and organic children’s bathroom amenities are also available, so children can share in this unforgettable experience. Each VILP (very important little person) will also receive an extra special treat on arrival, including their very own ‘Singa’ plush lion toy, an activity pack, and curated in-room bedtime books, whilst the dedicated Kids’ Concierge is also on hand to share their insight on the best things to see and do in the surrounding
area.

Authentic Asian Dining

Authentic Southeast Asian hospitality is at the heart of everything Pan Pacific London does and with five dining and drinking destinations, guests are spoilt for choice.

Straits Kitchen, the hotel’s signature restaurant, is a love letter to Southeast Asia in both its design and cuisine. The menu has been carefully crafted and is devoted to bringing the vibrant flavours of multicultural Singapore to London. Offering striking views of the concrete jungle beyond from its floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the space features two private dining rooms (Newton and Katong), a bespoke wine-cabinet-as-art, and custom murals by En Viu not only depict Asian botanicals but also mirror the unique flavours on the menu.

Straits Kitchen also offers a seasonally changing afternoon tea that takes inspiration from Pan Pacific London’s Singaporean roots. Named after the intimate neighbourhood coffee shops found across South East Asia, Pan Pacific London’s signature Kopi Tiam afternoon tea is a unique fusion of the classic British traditional offering alongside bao, dim sum and choux. Each afternoon tea is accompanied by exclusive blends from the Rare Tea Company as well as options for champagne or English sparkling wine. As ever, little ones are also well looked after, with a dedicated Children’s Afternoon Tea complete with an activity pack. Francesco Mannino is the Executive Pastry Chef.

For a post-work cocktail or an after-dinner drink, Ginger Lily Bar and Lounge bar is home to one of the UK’s largest rum collections with over 150 white, gold, dark, spiced and aged rums on offer. A carefully curated cocktail menu showcases an eclectic selection of signature classics as well as innovative serves inspired by Singaporean flavours and culture, elevated with modern flair and techniques.

Guests are spoilt for choice with another destination bar, Silverleaf, designed by Tom Dixon and located in Devonshire House adjacent to the hotel. Specialising in premium spirits, Silverleaf is one of the first independent cocktail bars to be part of a luxury hotel offering and is the perfect meeting spot for resident guests or passers-by looking for a taste of luxury.

Also located in Devonshire House is the hotel’s dedicated patisserie SHIOK!, serving stunning creations that look as good as they taste. Drawing on the hotel’s Singaporean roots and taking inspiration from South East Asian bakehouses, SHIOK! serves a variety of sweet and savoury breakfast items and a wide selection of bonbons and macarons. The drinks menu features that Singaporean staple, Bubble Tea, with a choice of flavours, and champagne by the glass.
