Stephanie has been working in the yachting industry for over 16 years and even after so many years, her passion for her job still grows every day. Putting together the perfect yacht charter holidays for her clients and managing a fine selection of great yachts herself, allows her to always be creative and to go the extra mile.

Over time she has extended her wide-ranging professional knowledge and created a fine portfolio of global contacts within the business. Stephanie has been able to develop outstanding know-how in Charter Management and Retail Charter, using personal travel knowledge and solid organisational skills and will ensure transactions are carried out proficiently and with competence.

LLSPAIN: With so many years of experience and knowledge, what sets SNS Yacht Charter apart from the competition?

SNS Yacht Charter is and will always stay a boutique sized company, as I never want it to lose the familiar feeling about it. Our clients and yacht owners are part of us, we build up strong relationships and make sure we get to know them as well as possible, as this is the only way that we can make sure that their yacht charter holiday is organized to the T. Our clients trust us, some of them even to the extent of allowing us to choose the perfect yacht for them, as they know we understand what is important to them and what they are looking for.

LLSPAIN: You run an all female team, why is that?

It just kind of just happened naturally when I started SNS and I think it will stay this way. I find it very important that women empower each other and I truly enjoy doing exactly that. I like the idea of my company being run by powerful, strong and witty women, working together as a team and helping each other grow.

LLSPAIN: Why is a yacht charter holiday such a great idea?

Well for a start, the mere fact of being on board a luxury yacht and being able to move around while being pampered by your crew on board. Just imagine the beauty of waking up in a new place every morning, with a beautifully arranged breakfast served at the most breathtaking spots you can think of. Being on a yacht allows our clients to spend their most valuable time of the year in a private, confidential environment, which can be quite an important key factor for some. Of course now, with the current health situation worldwide, private yacht charter holidays have become an even more considered option for many.

LLSPAIN: What are your personal exclusive cruising areas for yacht charters?

Certainly the Balearic islands, as I live here – there are so many things to do and see. The islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera are so different from each other and offer something for everybody. Apart from that, Croatia has grown on me a lot over the past years. The cruising area is beautiful and we have seen some very interesting yachts hit the market there in the last 24 months, offering amazing value for money. As for the winter season, I would personally choose the Bahamas.

LLSPAIN: Where is SNS Yacht Charter active?

Our office is based in Palma de Mallorca, however, due to our tight knit relationships in the industry, we work with yachts and collaborators all over the world. We have access to the finest charter yachts on the market, try us, we will find the perfect yacht for you anywhere, worldwide.

LLSPAIN: What does luxury mean to you?

To me personally luxury means to have the freedom of choosing what you want to do, with whom, when and where. The reason I define luxury this way, is because this is a very privileged way of being able to live and with this comes everything else related to luxury.

LLSPAIN: If you had to do it all over again, what would you do differently?

I would do everything exactly the way I have done. At this stage, I really can’t think of anything else and to be honest, mistakes are there to be learned from, so even if there was something that could have gone better or different, it made me who I am today and lead to what I have achieved.

LL SPAIN: What is the most important factor in a luxury experience for you?

The most important factor is the exclusivity and the service. Being pampered, taken care of during your holidays and to just sit back and relax – for me, these are the essentials of a luxury experience. All of this, while you are on board your dream yacht in the cruising area of your choice.

LLSPAIN: If you were allowed to take one luxury item to a desert island with you, what would you take?

This is the hardest question of this interview!

LLSPAIN: What are the new trends, evolutions in the near future when it comes to yacht chartering?

One of the yachts I manage, a Sunreef 60, has just been fitted with solar panels, so the generators can be switched off at night, allowing an almost silent use of the air conditioning, for example. I think solar power used on yachts is definitely one of the trends we will see more of in the future. Other than that, new water toys that come to the market are always very popular, as well as special features on board, such as your own SPA or Gym.
