Sylvain Croise, the new General Manager, brings fresh perspectives and energy to the resort. With his recent appointment, exciting future projects and enhancements are anticipated.

What are your immediate priorities as the new General Manager of Secana Beachtown Bali?

As the new General Manager of Secana Beachtown Resort, my immediate priorities revolve around enhancing cleanliness throughout the resort to ensure a superior guest experience. To achieve this goal, I will focus on optimising team efficiency to maximise our cleaning efforts in villas, public areas, and the main building.

Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that highlights the unique features and offerings of Secana Beachtown Resort. Utilise digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and targeted advertising campaigns to reach a wider audience both domestically and internationally.

Can you share some upcoming projects or developments you are excited about?

Promote and raise awareness for our Secana Pool Club located on the rooftop of the main building by organising exciting events and enhancing the food and beverage offerings.

Enhance the quality and variety of our breakfast offerings to establish ourselves as the premier choice in the Berawa area.

How do you plan to enhance the guest experience at Secana Beachtown?

Our strategy to elevate the guest experience involves a strong focus on personalised service. We intend to introduce a “Guest Service Attendant” who will attend to guests from their arrival throughout their stay, providing a wide range of assistance.

With this guest service system in place, guests will have the capability to book tours, make reservations at our restaurant and external venues, request information, and more.

What new amenities or services can guests expect shortly?

We are planning to expand our guest amenities by offering a complimentary selection of high-end teas in all lofts and villas, establishing a shopping list service that the guest service attendant will fulfil and deliver, and introducing an in-villa chef service for guests who desire to host a dinner in their own villa with a personal chef.

How do you envision Secana Beachtown evolving under your leadership?

As previously mentioned, through my leadership training and supervision, I aim to empower the team to transform our establishment into a premier destination in Berawa, synonymous with excellent accommodation, enjoyable experiences at Secana rooftop, outstanding food and beverage offerings, and top-notch gym facilities in the area.

Are there any plans to expand the wellness programmes at the resort?

We have an exciting plan to expand our gym programme by introducing a retreat programme ranging from 5 to 10 days for couples and groups. Each day will feature a variety of health, gym, running activities, yoga sessions, specialised meal programmes, and more.

How will you incorporate sustainability into future projects at Secana Beachtown?

My primary focus is to minimise our carbon footprint by eliminating all plastic items, such as plastic mineral water bottles in rooms and plastic tent cards, as well as implementing energy-saving initiatives. Additionally, I plan to engage in CSR programmes to support the local community.

What strategies will you implement to attract more international tourists?

Expanding collaboration with international travel agents and wholesalers, as well as participating in international travel shows such as ITB Berlin and Singapore, will be a great way to increase our reach and attract more customers.

Can you discuss any collaborations or partnerships in the pipeline?

It is premature to disclose at this stage as we are currently in discussions with several prospective partners. We look forward to sharing more information at the appropriate time.

How do you plan to balance maintaining the resort’s current charm while introducing innovations?

Through our preventive maintenance and monthly programmes, our innovation will focus solely on respecting the environment and nature, and promoting the tranquillity of the resort.
