We’ve just experienced the best weekend of our lives, staying in the superb Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa and playing the Carnoustie golf links courses.

The weather was changeable, to say the least. Our first day in Carnoustie was sunny and bright and really quite warm for Scotland. Our second day was a very different story, it was wild, howling wind and driving rain, but we were extremely honored to be sponsored for our trip by Lomond Golf Company apparel, which made all the difference to our challenging golf experience.

The Lomond Golf Company clothing fitted us both as if it was tailor made, very stylish, yet traditional, using breathable fabric for maximum comfort. The range is modern but still celebrates that iconic Scottish heritage while using the highest quality fabrics.

We loved the Lomond Stretch Tapered Trousers, that come in navy, black, gun metal grey, and grey. The trousers are made with maximum comfort in mind in a stretchable fabric and feature a half-cuff at the ankle, but still, manage to look like formal golf trousers.

There are numerous polo shirt styles, all designed with comfort in mind and we were lucky enough to have received a few of them. The Lomond Cameron Polo and the Lomond Swilken Polo use an active stretch pique fabric, with a lightweight feel, but again use stretchy material to ensure maximum freedom of movement through the swing. They come in various plain colours or with contrasting collars, but both designs are of a tailored fit, perfect for our sporty physiques.

We really appreciated the Hybrid Stretch Jacket, in black, with its all-over padded design and full front zip fastening, and a stand-up collar, we were kept warm and dry. The long woven sleeves in a two-toned ribbed design in black with ribbed panels ensured a stylish look, the jackets fitted perfectly. Luckily we were well prepared and added the quarter zip mid-layer sweater under the jacket, had it not been wet and windy weather, this would have been perfect on its own for a late summer/early autumn day, but as it was the jacket was essential.

The fit of these garments, the feel, and the practicality were superb and we cannot recommend this range enough.

Lomond Golf Company was only created in 2020, but it has all the makings of a huge golf apparel brand, especially as golf is evolving and golfers are becoming ever more athletic.
