Kazoku has taken the concept of fine dining to a whole new level, where taste, elegance and coziness are all part of a memorable experience.

Location

KAZOKU is located in Swan Lake Compound, New Cairo. It creates a unique ambience that involves all of the senses, starting from the music, to the classic lighting, fancy service and divine menu.

The Menu

The food at KAZOKU is exceptional, every bit is a burst of flavours, and every dish has its own identity. The menu is simple, well categorised and easy for guests to choose from without being overwhelmed. If you’re a sushi lover, the place serves a wide selection of sushi from traditional Nigiri and Sashimi to the chef’s selection of special rolls and their signature rolls. If you’re not in the mood for sushi and you’d rather have a nice juicy steak, KAZOKU’s famous beef tenderloin with garlic, sesame and chilli sauce is heavenly; it’s highly recommended by KAZOKU regulars. You could also try their chicken thighs marinated in teriyaki and spring onions, it is an absolute delight. To end your experience at KAZOKU on a sweet note, you can try one of their unique desserts such as the Yuzu cheesecake or the Chocolate Matcha fondant.

Service

Kazoku in Japanese means family, and this is exactly how the staff feels like. It feels like one big welcoming family ready to serve you with a genuine smile.

Awards

In 2017 the restaurant was awarded Japanese Restaurant of the Year by Luxury Travel Guide.
And in 2018, KAZOKU was voted as an excellent Fine Dining Cuisine in the MENA region and an excellent Asian and Japanese Cuisine in Africa at the World Luxury Restaurants Awards.

Sadly, the place is still temporarily closed due to Covid-19, however, there is some good news for New Cairo residents; you can order your favourite dishes to be delivered to your doorstep.

Delivery times are between 1 pm to 3 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm.
