Introducing “Kismet” – A luxury Yacht – A rather large Christmas Gift!

Without a doubt, you will need a truckload of beautiful wrapping paper for this mind-blowing gift. Treat your loved ones to an unforgettable dream present and give them a mega-surprise by chartering a one-of-a-kind, super-duper and easily 7-star hotel-rated floating palace.

May I present to you KISMET, a wunderkind in the heady world of super yachts, being launched on 24 April this year but designed and constructed with a fine pedigree of experience by Lürssen in Germany.
KISMET is an utterly and unashamedly bedecked showcase of breathtaking and top-notch interior design by Reymond Langton Design and exterior spaces by Nuvolari Lenard, with every fitting constructed and fitted to the highest-quality specifications.

A ginormous treat awaits your loved ones stepping aboard KISMET and traversing the 122 metres (a smidgeon above the height of a 40-story building) of stem-to-stern masterpiece accommodation guaranteed to make them utter ‘Oh, wow!’ many times over. A real delight for guests is to see so much of the sea and coastline through the unique and vast glass areas, which let in oodles of natural light flowing throughout the design. And believe it or not, the glass in KISMET’s Nemo lounge is a gargantuan 130mm or a splash over 5 inches thick.

To whet the anticipation of your senses of seeing and experiencing everything on KISMET as you arrive via her strikingly sharp bow is a fabulous Art Deco silver Jaguar figurehead prowling serenely underneath the bowsprit – paying homage to the NFL team based in Jacksonville – KISMET’s owner’s favourite team.

Clearly, if your mode of transport is by air and you land on the yacht’s generous helipad (rated for Airbus EH155 helicopters or equivalent), you will miss seeing the magnificent beast.

Your luxury accommodation is an exceptional and enormous design but easily has a homely and inviting ambience where all your emotions and senses will experience perfection. Even being extremely large, the raison d’être behind KISMET’s exquisite interior and exterior design enables the owner and guests to effortlessly explore and recognise each deck level by its distinctive design – without using Google Maps and a cell phone.

And who looks after KISMET’s guests, pampering and attending to you, literally hand and foot, during your voyage? Your luxury yacht’s highly qualified and approachable captain, who commands a well-trained, rated and skilled crew of up to 37, ensures that your every desire, comfort and safety are at the top of everyone’s list of duties.

Be your destination the French Rivera, Dubai, Antigua, or perhaps the Costa Smeralda, your KISMET will whisk you there at a brisk 18 knots or 12 if you want to use her maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles. In stealth mode, KISMET can arrive silently at her moorings or cruise for 15 minutes, switching to her efficient electric engines.

Top Deck

Bring your kids to the top deck to enjoy a large jacuzzi with a shallow area, especially for them. To keep your eyes on the little ones, nestle into the enormous sunbeds, or if you are at sea with no usual city light pollution, stare in wonder at the vast and visible Milky Way on warm, balmy nights.

Everyone loves entertaining friends and family, so gather 14 lovely people for a social and casual get-together at KISMET’s exquisite stone-topped dining table. Let the crew serve you a mouth-watering variety of magnificent pizzas from the gas-fired clay oven.

If you love dancing, KISMET’s round overhang at the aft bridge deck is a multi-function DJ station serving the large party deck below. If you get exhausted, the deck can turn into an outdoor cinema, hammock, or sunbed relaxation area. And if the call of mainland entertainment needs satisfying, you can be whisked away by helicopter to your favourite coastal nightspot after the deck transforms into a helipad.

Bridge Deck

When guests traverse the long and elegant curved staircase down to the lower deck, the sheer quality of the interior design and fittings blows them away. Complementing the staircase’s descent to the other decks is a feature wall and art installation made of bronze-coloured pipe light fixtures of varying heights, with Venetian fabric panels behind them; these design elements shift from sky blue to dark green as you descend. If guests look up, their jaws drop in awe at a large infinity mirror sparkling with an illuminated crystal display.

Pool Deck

On this deck, there is theatre – not a play or musical, but a presentation staged by your chef. Get ready for a performance of Teppanyaki at the 14-guest dining table, set at bar height. Your meal is prepared in front of you by KISMET’s celebrated chef, who uses a griddle to cook your Teppanyaki dishes – Teppan and yaki words come from Japan – 鉄板 – meaning iron plate and grilled or pan-fried. Gaze at and smell your sizzling seafood, meats and vegetarian options as they are cooked, with the chef performing tricks (careful ones!) with knives and your ingredients – a total hypnotic and enthralling theatre of entertainment, magically enveloped in twinkling LED lights. After your memorable meal, there are two bars and two large TVs to relax the mind and well-fed bodies.

Do you love swimming? Of course you do, so get ready to fall in love with KISMET’s 11-metre mosaic-lined swimming pool, glittering in a kaleidoscope of blues, with an impressive waterfall feature cascading into the pool from the deck above. And to help soothe your aching bits and pieces, there is a fixed reclining section with massage jets – or to dilute them – there is a swim-up bar facing the dining area.

After that exhilarating exercise and toning, open the large-curved glass doors behind the dining table area and enjoy the pool deck lounge. The interior, designed as an Ibiza beach club, is predominantly white, with rope-tasselled curtains, ivory limestone floors, and white leather and ivory rock walls. This chic Bohemian atmosphere is finished with low round sofas, then transformed into a multicoloured disco at night after the crew removes the white carpet. The party is on when thousands of glittering LED lights and an interactive panel dancefloor come to life. The action centred on a large Calacatta Carrara marble bar, and a bespoke glittering chandelier hits the beach party vibes right on the spot.

A large and impressive gold and crystal chandelier surrounded by mirrors hangs at the centre of this deck and is a magnificent design statement suspended through a 3-deck atrium. The glass mega-chandelier connects each deck’s guest lobby spaces. “This was one of the challenges imposed on us,” explains Pascale Reymond. “How to reproduce the chandeliers from La Galerie des Glaces in Versailles, without having a forest of chandeliers and in a smaller space? The way we executed the main staircase chandelier is the answer: one single, large, elaborate chandelier in a very contemporary space surrounded by mirrors.”

Owner’s Office

As a guest on KISMET there will be times when you want to make yourself a delicious cappuccino, tea, pour a glass of pink champagne or a wild cocktail, or maybe raid the snack cupboard for a crafty nibble. This facility is available in the master pantry, a chic room with black Nero Marquina marble floors and dark embossed leather walls brilliantly executed by Atelier Meriguet-Carrière, the celebrated arts studio in Paris.

Master Cabin

Moving to the deck below, guests will find the Master Cabin occupying more than half of the interior guest space on this deck. The cabin is opulent and ornate, with abundant gold tones, seen on the perfectly crafted furniture hardware to the television’s ornate gilded surround. There are stunning red and gold curtains and a large gas fireplace to keep you snug as a bug if you want a cosy cabin in the evening.

To lull you into a deep sleep, lie on the large double bed, gaze through the large skylight and be mesmerised by the magnificent star-lit night sky.

If you need a soak, your Master Cabin has a Jacuzzi pool, a fold-out TV, and adjacent private sunbathing and dining areas. Amazingly, this deck area converts into an NBA-certified basketball court and a pickleball court if you need lots of exercise.

To pamper and prepare for non-stop dining and disco parties, you have adjacent his-and-her bathrooms and dressing rooms covered in Merino wool carpets, antique gold embossed leather wallpaper, and black and gold Oriental Silverlining marquetry.

Main Lobby

Three additional rooms in the master suite consist of a beauty room, a boudoir, and a second guest pantry.

The private beauty room, designed to handle hair, nail, and skincare routines, is decorated to create a warm and opulent environment using Noir polished marble, gold Celine Alexandré ginkgo leaf bespoke wall panels, and champagne gold leaf ceilings. The boudoir is a feminine and luxurious space featuring a black shagreen and ebony Macassar vanity table, bespoke embroidered silk wall panels with birds and cherry blossoms, and a massage table next to a floor-to-ceiling window.

For your viewing pleasure, KISMET boasts two double-height video walls from the main lobby deck to the main deck below and positioned at opposite sides of the saloon entrance. The individually controlled screens show television stations or in real-time, what is happening outside of the yacht: view from your bed what is waiting for you at breakfast – the beautiful turquoise hue of the Caribbean Sea or Port Hercules waking up in Monaco.

For your musical pleasure, a grand piano awaits you. It was designed by celebrated pianist Boganyi and industrial designer Peter Uveges; it is a futuristic self-playing piece that draws on automotive design cues. The saloon also includes a large bar with a gold glass and black marble finish and a convivial sofa arrangement with low tables for intimate evenings amongst friends and family.

The lobby and grand entrance make an unforgettable first impression, befitting the incredible character of the yacht. On the other side of the lobby is a custom games table next to a double-wall height cascading ginkgo leaf sculptural artwork. The formal dining table on the starboard side comfortably seats up to 18 guests and can serve as a boardroom for business meetings. On the port side is a sculptural gold-coloured bar designed by Based Upon, with the space brought together by polished French limestone floors set in an intricate parquet pattern running throughout the deck.

Perhaps two of the most arresting sights on KISMET are the large floor-to-ceiling ethanol-fuelled fireplaces in polished French limestone with impressively complex sculptural details. The fireplaces flank the entrance to the saloon, creating distinct areas without the need for closed doors. Above comfortable sofas and armchairs, the ceiling features a Renaissance-style De Gournay fresco with historical and mythical heroes.

Next to the floor-to-ceiling windows on either side of the room are modern display cabinets housing some of the owner’s favourite wines. Additional windows cut into the bulwarks – the extensions to KISMET’s hull sides – flood the deck with natural light and give an unobstructed view even when seated. Another bar is also available, dedicated to champagne and matching the larger bar amidships. Outside this deck is a circular arrangement of sofas centred around a waterfall fire pit, identical to the one above, and an 85-inch television.

A gathering of 24 guests for a party on the aft deck dining area is kept snug and protected from ocean winds by sliding glass panels, with its environment controlled by an HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) hot and cold climate control system.

Is there a better way to watch the sun saying goodbye to the day and see the sun’s green flash than by looking out from KISMET’s aft deck (a platform at the back part of the yacht)? You would see everything before you through large, frameless glass balustrading while cuddling on circular sofas or Cabana beds. To add to each evening’s scenic drama and to keep the goosebumps from appearing, there is a fantastic gas-driven firepit, whose waterfall effect will convince you the fire dances on the water’s surface. Hopefully, you will be clutching glasses of delicious cocktails and plates of scrumptious hors d’oeuvres served by KISMET’s crew from two matching bars and two buffets.

Guest Accommodation

You will love your uniquely themed KISMET cabins adorned with every imaginable luxury. Located midships – roughly midway between the bow (front) and stern (back), guests can choose from four equal-sized and strikingly designed guest cabins inspired by nature to the owner’s favourite fashion brands.

You may be swayed to choose the cabin lavished with bespoke wallpaper with Lalique crystal dahlias and swallows, balanced by a matching Lalique headboard and door handles. However, each cabin is uniquely designed, bedecked with the highest quality interior elements and furniture, and flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Complimenting the stylish cabins are spacious dressing rooms with ensuite bathrooms with intricate and ornate double sink vanities and bold marbles.

The lower deck houses two additional permanent guest cabins, with a third cabin that can double as a massage room when not used by overnight guests.

Suppose you want to charter KISMET for a long and unforgettable party with family or friends. In that case, the luxury yacht can accommodate up to 18 guests in seven cabins, including the master suite, the third flexible cabin on the lower deck and the owner’s study, which converts into guest accommodation.

Lower Deck – Wellness Centre

Imagine a charming Balinese vision. On KISMET’s lower deck, one is waiting for you, complete with every imaginable service to pep up your body and mind. Say hello to the gold Buddha statue as you pass decorative glass with green reeds and stone walls featuring recessed planters and faux plants that resemble a tropical forest.

Explore the yoga lounge and juice bar, then relax in a warm mud bath. Treat your whole body to a deep and soothing massage and a therapeutic reflexology session exploring specific points on your feet, hands and ears, promoting soothing relaxation and better blood circulation.

Feeling fit or wanting to be? A teak-floored gym with built-in LED screens and top-of-the-range Technogym equipment await you to pump iron in the cool air-conditioned room or outside in the fresh sea air.

Once exhausted from your exercise, jump into the plunge pool with a waterfall, then heat your whole body in a gorgeous sauna or steam it away in the hammam.

What more is there to tempt you into the spa complex? Well, try out the ice and snow room, a shaving station, and a cryogenic chamber with a temperature that drops to -85 degrees Celsius – and if you are unsure why you would want to sit in a freezer, the few minutes in the chamber triggers therapeutic increases in blood flow, reduced inflammation and increased body recovery.

And for your loveliness, enter the guest beauty salon and enjoy pampering in the feminine ambience of a jewellery box setting, with striking embroidered wisteria wallpaper, purple crystal borders around the large mirror, and backlit white onyx and bronze surfaces.

The Nemo Room

After your vigorous exercise and body pampering, perhaps you crave some delicious popcorn and to watch a film. You will be surprised that your route to the entertainment centre will be through a futuristic ‘Tron’ corridor of glass, black leather, and marble. This unusual design feature pierces through the actual KISMET powerhouse, allowing guests to marvel at the fantastic and complex engine room.

Your destination is a dazzling Art Deco luxury cinema room, where a hidden 160-inch TV screen can descend from the ceiling. The interior design boasts peacock blue and gold accents and cosy and comfortable cinema lounge chairs, which can face three large windows that descend one metre below KISMET’s waterline, allowing guests to view the everchanging sea life.

Toys and Tenders

Now for KISMET’s toys and tenders.

Toys are plentiful – choose from fast and exciting jet skis, personal propulsion Seabobs (Cayago F5S), take-your-breath-away e-foils, a rather exciting slide and a generous floating platform dock – an indispensable place to take full advantage of the contents of the full dive storage room situated behind the spa.

Located forward on the main deck is the hanger for a very smart 11.2-metre Hodgson limo tender – the shape of luxury boats seen on Venice canals; an 11.8-metre Naiad RHIB for 16 smartly dressed guests to leave KISMET for, perhaps, a quiet night at a club at Porto Cervo; a work of art 8.24-metre Riva 27 ISEO to zoom into Cannes for a gourmet meal at La Palme d’Or and a fast 6.3-metre Fassmer RIR 625 ID for anyone who needs a spot of rescuing.

Okay, here we are – the wonders of KISMET have been laid bare. However, let Pascale Reymond sum up why you should start collecting that truckload of beautiful wrapping to cover your loved one’s extraordinary gift:

“KISMET is something entirely different and more avant-garde, yet still timeless and is truly a masterpiece – a cathedral of design where many concepts, ideas, and a sense of history come together beautifully in harmony – a floating land of contrast.”

There you are…

Now, give the lovely people at Cecil Wright & Partners a call and charter KISMET – there will be no regrets – only smiles, great satisfaction and fantastic memories.
