Crazy Pizza Marylebone – bringing Italian authenticity direct to your table
You will be endlessly entertained at Crazy Pizza Marylebone, the chefs delight in spinning the yeast-free, but never ‘taste-free’ as they say, pizza dough infront of you, perfect for those instagram moments.
This Marylebone restaurant is stylish in every way, the décor, the cocktails and most importantly the cuisine is exceptional, with that all-Italian flair.
We enjoyed a Saturday lunch sitting on the sunny terrace with a Dolce & Banana and a Flower Field cocktail, with out four legged friend (not allowed inside the restaurant, but more than welcome on the terrace). It’s the perfect spot for people watching, and for a little retail therapy, but I recommend shopping before you dine, why? Because after a few of these superb cocktails your purse strings may become a little looser!
Crazy Pizza has a great menu, it doesn’t just end at pizzas, they serve delicious fresh crunchy salads, a great selection of starters, (I highly recommend the Burrata), and fabulously indulgent desserts, including the traditional Tiramisu.
I chose Burrata served with Datterino tomatoes, basil and extra virgin olive oil to begin with, it was incredibly fresh and light, and my husband chose the fried baby squid presented with courgettes and tartare sauce, again it was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented.
We had a short break before choosing our pizza. The pizza are of course the speciality of the restaurant, and rightly so, they are without yeast, so thin crust. Italy’s famous Morello ovens create just the right crispness for mouth-watering skinny pizzas that are guilt free! We chose a couple of pizzas to share, my choice was Al prosciutto and my husband decided to go spicy, so they created one especially for him. They were both delicious, but even though they were thin crust they were filling, but that didn’t stop us indulging in a dessert! So of course we just had to try the Tiramisu and had a litltle Italian Gelato to accompany it, and again we shared. The Tiramisu was rich and creamy and totally delectable.
Crazy Pizza is a glamorous restaurant, with a fabulous team that are there to ensure your Italian dining expereince is a good one!
And if you’re travelling you may find a Crazy Pizza, they are in many cities globally, including Monte Carlo, Doha, Porto Cervo, Riyadh, and of course in Italy in Rome and Milan and I’ve a feeling this brand will continue to grow and grow!
