Over the past twenty years, I’ve visited numerous luxury aesthetic clinics in London and the surrounding counties. While I’ve generally been satisfied with the treatments, I’ve never left feeling truly ecstatic—until now. Let me explain…

I’ve always been confident in my knowledge of aesthetic procedures and usually approached treatments with a certain idea of what I wanted. I’d tell the practitioners exactly which procedures I fancied, and this worked well enough given my familiarity with the wide range of available treatments. However, my recent visit to Clinicbe in Knightsbridge, under the care of Dr. Barbara Kubicka, completely changed my perspective.

Located in the discreet and elegant Clabon Mews in Knightsbridge, London, Clinicbe immediately felt different. I arrived with my usual requests for Botox and fillers, in need of a serious refresh after a couple of years without any treatments. To me, my nasal and marionette lines appeared heavy, my crow’s feet more pronounced, and my jawline noticeably slack. I thought I knew exactly what I needed. But instead of simply following my usual instructions, Dr. Kubicka took the time to sit down with me, thoroughly assess my concerns, and explain that there were multiple options beyond just dermal fillers and Botox.

What followed was a carefully planned, two-visit approach tailored to my specific needs, in other words, bespoke. This review covers the first visit, which focused on enhancing my jawline, lifting my brows, softening the crow’s feet and contouring my face to soften those pesky nasal and marionette lines.

Treatments So Far…

After a thorough consultation, my treatment began with 30 minutes of numbing cream, gently massaged in by Dr. Kubicka’s attentive assistant.

For my brow lift, Dr. Kubicka administered Baby Botox, a technique using tiny injections delivering small, accurately placed amounts to relax the muscles by blocking nerve impulses. The result? A subtle yet effective lift that has slightly opened up my eyes, making my eyelids appear less hooded.

To refine my jawline, enhance facial contours, and subtly reshape my lips, Dr. Kubicka used dermal fillers. These non-surgical, injectable treatments restore lost volume by topping up hyaluronic acid in the skin, which naturally diminishes with age. As well as their anti-ageing benefits, dermal fillers help sculpt and define facial features, giving a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

To further contour my jawline, the final treatment was Mesotherapy. This technique stimulates collagen production and encourages skin regeneration through micro-injections of vitamins, minerals, and pharmaceuticals. By triggering the skin’s natural healing response, it enhances definition and overall skin quality.

Dr. Kubicka made me feel completely at ease, reassuring me every step of the way and regularly checking that I was comfortable. On a pain scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being extremely painful, I would rate my experience at just a 1!

To conclude my treatments, I had a 30-minute LED light session to aid the healing process. It was the perfect way to finish, I felt completely relaxed, with no downtime, bruising, swelling, or redness.

Baby Botox takes a few days to a week or two to fully take effect, but I can already see a noticeable difference around my eyes and brows. My jawline appears more contoured and defined, while my nasal and marionette lines have softened. The dermal filler has undoubtedly enhanced my cheeks, which I love. The mesotherapy, new to me, has given my jawline a more lifted and tightened appearance, giving me back the ‘oval’ of my face, which is a more youthful look.

In two weeks, I’ll be returning to Clinicbe for a Baby Botox top-up and potentially some threads to further lift my jawline and enhance my facial contours.
