With World Gin Day taking place on 11th June, this unique series of events will feature as part of the brand’s inaugural Gin & Tonic Month, which will run throughout June as an extended celebration of the iconic drink. The leading premium gin brand has come together with the popular London studio to encourage guests to hone their art skills and stir creativity with each of the sessions inspired by four hero gins from the ever-expanding BOMBAY SAPPHIRE collection.

BOMBAY SAPPHIRE and MasterPeace both share an ethos of encouraging everyone to tap into their creative side. Although these past few years have seen a spike in people who have sought new creative endeavors to feel fulfilled and energised, life has returned to a faster pace, and it has inevitably become harder to make time for these all-important acts of creativity. This new series, co-curated by the two brands, is designed to reignite this creative spark by offering simple, convenient skills that can be learned in a 90-minute exploration of art and flavour. Whether attendees are looking to discover new creative skills or upgrade their G&Ts for when they next host a social event, one thing is for sure, every guest will leave feeling invigorated and fulfilled.

The sessions will not only focus on encouraging guests to try new things, but the surprise element also means that those that do secure one of the 12 tickets for each class will be asked to take a leap of faith and step outside their comfort zone. Ticket-holders will not be informed of the type of art they’ll be mastering until 24 hours before they’re due to arrive. The only information available upfront will be the date, time and which of the exciting gin expressions acts as the inspiration for the class – the gin that will also be the feature at the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE hosted private bar.

There is a range of different types of art that feature in the series, from alcohol-infused water colour (hosted outside in the courtyard) to a Pollock-style painting session inspired by the light refractions and blue hue of the iconic blue Bombay Sapphire bottle. The classes will be led by the host of awe-inspiring artists that work at MasterPeace Studios and the cost of the ticket includes all the materials and tools that guests will need to complete their works of art.

In celebration of one of the country’s favourite tipples, the experience will also include a G&T bar. Upon arrival at the venue, every ticket-holder will be invited to take their turn on the ‘Ginspiration Wheel’, which will land on a FeverTree mixer and a garnish option to adorn their G&T. Acting as the canvas for these G&T twists will be one of the four hero gins, each of which have a beautifully balanced taste profile that welcome different combinations of mixers and garnishes. The range includes Bombay Bramble – a bold, berry gin with a 100% natural flavour infusion, Bombay Citron Pressé – a brand-new Mediterranean lemon flavoured gin with vibrant zesty notes, Bombay Sunset – a subtly spiced and citrusy gin that evokes the sense of the setting sun and of course, the iconic Bombay Sapphire – with its versatile profile making it the perfect base for a plethora of cocktails.

June 2022 marks the first ever G&T Month celebration by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE, launched to celebrate one of the world’s most loved spirits and focused around World Gin Day on 11th June. The month is the perfect chance for people across the country to trial stunning gins available from the brand and explore different gin and tonic combinations. As well as the limited masterclass series with MasterPeace, the gin brand will be launching a host of G&T activations across the country with partner bars featuring various twists and recipes. These G&Ts can also be created at home throughout the summer months. Whether you’re looking to perfect a classic and refreshing G&T to enjoy al-fresco, give your tipple an elevation or simply try a new vibrant garnish when you next host friends – the month encourages exploration of the iconic spirit extending World Gin Day throughout the month.
