Bespoke Smile – primary goal is to change how patients experience dentistry
I didn’t qualify for an NHS brace in my teens, my teeth were borderline good/okay! Relieved as I was at the time, more recently I wish I had pushed a little harder, so my smile might have been a little straighter.
Having said that, they really were quite alright, nice and white, but the front teeth a little big in relation to the next two teeth on either side. It’s been bugging me for a few years now, so when I was offered the chance for a ‘Bespoke Smile’ at the fabulous rather smart cosmetic dentist practice of the same name in Marlow, excuse the pun, but I bit their hand off.
My first appointment was an hour long consultation, with not one, not two, but three experts, all chatting amongst themselves and including me of course, deciding the best steps to achieve my expectations.
My teeth were very clean and really quite naturally white and shiny, I’ve always felt they were strong and healthy, I’ve looked after them meticulously, brushing, flossing and always maintaining that six monthly dental visits, I ‘ve never had a filling, so that care has paid off so far.
My bite I was told was fine, my teeth really just needed a little composite bonding to make them a bit more proportionate with each other, and to even out some of the slightly jagged edges.
So my second appointment was to add the composite bonding, perfectly matching the tooth colour and creating that even natural look. This process was completely painless, non-invasive and with no down-time, with immediate visual results.
My second session took two and a half hours, and I left with the most broad smile on my face. I had a quick 20 minute visit a week later just to check alignment and the bite, everything was as perfect as possible.
Now this review is not very technical, may I suggest if you have any questions regarding cosmetic dentistry, book yourself in, you won’t be disappointed, you will receive an extensive, expert, and concise diagnosis of exactly the process you will need, including the number of sessions, hours and cost from the Bespoke Smile team.
Composite bonding is ideal for patients with chips, cracked or broken teeth and be the perfect answer to an aesthetic fix, and can usually be achieved in just one appointment.
The treatment process uses a tooth-coloured resin that’s applied to the existing tooth, composite bonding can reshape teeth or improve on their existing colour.
Bespoke Smile cover all things dentistry, from dental veneers, cosmetic braces and dental implants to general dentistry and even facial aesthetics. The clinic is bright, white comfortable and hygienically clean and of course they are extremely strict with the Covid-19 restrictions, adhering to the full PPE protocol, they ensure you feel completely as ease.
To say I’m thrilled with the results of my cosmetic dentistry at Bespoke Smile would be an understatement. My confidence is flying high, I smile more and my photos are great now.
Thank you to Sam and the entire Bespoke Smile team in Marlow.
