Barbury Hill – Shop small and support independent producers
After the hardest of years, and with Christmas set to look different for most of us, it’s never been more important to support and champion independent British producers. The challenge? Finding them! Introducing Barbury Hill, a new, specialist online platform with a raison d’etre that is just that – to shine a light on the best of British talent and make their products more accessible to a discerning audience. What’s more – they’ve got something for everyone this Christmas!
Set up by Daniel Smith this summer, after Covid brought his role abroad to an abrupt end, Barbury Hill works with a select group of award-winning producers to showcase a tried and tasted selection of the highest quality home-grown food and drink products. Featuring only those that offer exceptional quality and taste, Barbury Hill prides itself on only showcasing makers that are not sold through mainstream retailers. With no middleman, orders are dispatched directly from the producers to ensure that packaging, air miles and third-party commissions are kept to a minimum, protecting both the brands and the environment.
Showcasing myriad edible and drinkable delights from delicate English still and sparkling wines, to Monmouthshire mead, organic charcuterie, British beer and ciders, small-batch cheeses and home-baked treats, Barbury Hill is your one-stop-shop for foodie gifts this Christmas. Below are a few highlights from the range, all of which are available for nationwide UK delivery* – perfect for gifting family, friends and clients, Christmas entertaining, or as a well-needed lockdown treat.
