Aurum Gallery is a contemporary, urban and street art gallery conceived and curated by internationally acclaimed British DJ, musician, actor and artist, Clifford Price (MBE) aka ‘Goldie’.
Showcasing some of the world’s biggest artists in contemporary, urban and street art including Belin, Ben Eine, Bio, Bisco Smith, Ces, Crash, Goldie, Helio Bray, Mad C, Mikael B, Mr Cenz, Nick Walker, Vhils, Voyder and many more housed in a 500sqm 2nd world war warehouse in the creative district of Bangkok, Thailand.
We have become known as one of the best art galleries in South East Asia and a ‘must see destination’ in Bangkok.
At the heart of the gallery space, is a one-of-kind permanent installation, a full size graffitied gold leaf New York Subway Car that symbolises a cohesion of cultures, acknowledging the golden age of graffiti art and drawing inspiration from Thai traditional fine art.
Goldie (Aurum Gallery Owner)
Clifford Joseph Price (MBE), better known as Goldie, is a British musician, music producer, DJ, artist and actor.
Initially gaining exposure for his work as a graffiti artist, Goldie became well known for his pioneering role as a musician in the 1990’s.
In 2007, he returned to the art world with an exhibition, ‘Love over Gold’, which was held in, London. Since this time he has held exhibitions worldwide with his seminal solo show ‘Lost Tribes’ in London in 2013.
Goldie was appointed a ‘Member of the Order of the British Empire’ (MBE) by the Queen in the 2016 New Year Honours awards, for services to music, the arts and young people.
Goldie is an artist whose ferocious creativity shows no bounds. Goldie’s versatility as a visual artist has come to fore and recent work has included sculpture, album artwork, and forays into furniture and fashion design.
