Our stay began with a seamless check-in, where the friendly and attentive staff made us feel immediately at home. Our dinner at Cambium was nothing short of spectacular. From the first sip of our expertly crafted cocktails to the final bite of our delicious dessert, every moment of the meal was delivered to perfection. The menu showcased locally sourced ingredients, transformed into creative and artfully presented dishes. We started with beautifully presented scallop dish, followed by a melt-in-the-mouth fillet of beef cooked to absolute perfection. The accompanying wine selection was impressive as was the service, and the sommelier’s recommendations complemented each course beautifully. The dessert, a rich and velvety chocolate fondant, was the perfect finale to an exceptional dining experience.

A Revitalising Spa Experience

The next morning, we indulged in the renowned SenSpa, and it was truly one of the highlights of our stay. From the moment we stepped inside, the calming ambiance, infused with soothing aromas, set the stage for an unparalleled wellness experience. The hydrotherapy facilities, including the thermal rooms and vitality pool, were an absolute delight. My massage was superb – an expert therapist managed to melt away every ounce of tension with skillful precision. It was a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience that left me feeling completely renewed. The most indulgent experience was a private room where we slathered  mud over each other, it was fun and left our skin feeling hydrated and soft.

A Perfect Start to the Day

Breakfast at Careys Manor was another treat. Served in the light-filled dining room with those fabulous views, the laden tables featured a wonderful selection of fresh, high-quality produce. From fresh pastries and seasonal fruit to a hearty full English breakfast, everything was prepared to perfection. The eggs were cooked exactly to my liking, the sausages and bacon were full of flavour and of a high quality, the fresh juices and artisan coffee made for the perfect finishing touch.
