Tom Shepherd partners with Wembley Stadium for Emirates FA Cup

Tom Shepherd, chef and founder of Michelin-starred restaurant Upstairs in Lichfield, is bringing fans the ultimate matchday experience as he curates an exclusive menu for the Emirates FA Cup semi-finals (26th April) and final (17th May). Dining Experience by Tom Shepherd enriches the gastronomical hospitality experience for members at Wembley Stadium and launched to great success at the Carabao Cup Final this month.

The menu designed by the award-winning chef, pairs culinary excellence against a backdrop of sporting excitement. Served in the luxurious and exclusive Laurent-Perrier champagne lounges to 80 diners, offering outstanding views to savour every bite and every second of the game.

The thoughtfully crafted menu uses the finest local ingredients to showcase traditional British dishes and flavours such as Herefordshire beef tartare, and Atlantic cod. Guests can enjoy Shepherd’s signature dessert, ‘No Ordinary Schoolboy’ – white chocolate banana filled with banana mousse and popping candy, a side of banana cake, caramel, banana ice cream and granola. The playful technical dessert was first devised for the Great British Menu. Each course will be paired with wine and champagne to further complement each dish.

New Dining Experience by Tom Shepherd

Shepherd is known for his modern, seasonal interpretation of classic dishes and has over a decade of experience working in some of the UK’s finest kitchens. In 2021, he opened his restaurant Upstairs By Tom Shepherd, which was awarded a Michelin Star just four months after opening and has a waiting list of 10 months.

Chef Shepherd shared his enthusiasm, adding: “I’m a huge football fan, so I am over the moon to create Dining Experience by Tom Shepherd for such huge football fixtures. The menu reflects our rich British heritage and the excitement of matchday tournaments – and my team intend to deliver a brilliantly memorable experience that will no doubt be matched by the finalists on the pitch too!”
