Bounty Rum to be featured at this year’s Notting Hill Carnival
Next weekend’s Notting Hill Carnival looks set to be bigger and better than ever with Bounty Rum’s partnership with M2KMAS. With a real Saint Lucian vibe we’d love you to be part of it and to share with your readers and friends. Below is information about the festivities and attached is an image. If you’d like anything more please get in touch and hope you can feature this.
Notting Hill Carnival 2024 is set to come to life this year with an injection of Saint Lucian spirit delivered by the island’s favourite drink, Bounty Rum. Distributor Mangrove Global has partnered up with the Saint Lucian Tourism Authority (SLTA) and the UK’s biggest Saint Lucian’s Mas Band, M2KMAS, to bring two incredible Bounty experiences to Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday – and they want you to be part of it!
Notting Hill Carnival’s parades bring colourful floats, live music, dancing, and exquisite costumes onto the streets of the area, encouraging people to dance and party whilst celebrating Caribbean culture. Representing the beauty of Saint Lucia, Bounty will be running two carnival floats, adorned in the spirit’s signature colours, where the team serve up drinks and play the sounds of Saint Lucia for revellers who will party behind the float. If you want to be part of the festivities, you can purchase an incredible M2KMAS designed costume, this year based around the theme of mystical creatures. Along with your costume, you’ll also receive branded Bounty merch adorned in the now famous bright Bounty yellow, minis, and unlimited Bounty drinks and food while you’re on the road.
Outside of the parade, carnival-goers can find Bounty being poured at bars along the route itself, including hero venues like Portobello Star, The Hayden, and Cottons and the home of rum Trailer Happiness. Bounty will also be hosting post and pre-carnival Soca parties – fuelled by Bounty Rum Punch and live Soca music, the sound of calypso. Head over to Instagram @m2kmas to find out more about these events. And for those who can’t make it to London for the carnival, Bounty will also be pouring an extra-special serve in bars across the UK, to give everyone a little taste of Carnival across the bank holiday weekend.
On 20th August, the spirits brand will bring together VIPs from across the UK for an exclusive pre-carnival party, with guests enjoying some great drinks and Bounty-themed treats as they get ready to party into the evening. And if you spy and scan the Bounty QR code – you could be in with a chance to win a VIP trip to Saint Lucia itself. Keep your eyes peeled on the Bounty Float to shoot your shot.
Bounty Rum is distilled by Saint Lucia Distillers in the island’s green and leafy valley of Roseau. Known as the island’s carnival drink, the brand’s colours of red and yellow can be seen dotted across the island in the form of rum shacks – a place for locals and visitors alike to quench their thirst with a refreshing Bounty and Coke. Enjoyed by rum lovers across the world for its soft mouthfeel and clean finish, the range of Bounty Rums are excellent spirits for mixing into cocktails or simply enjoyed in the ‘signature serve’ with coke over ice.
For those wanting to join Bounty in the Notting Hill Carnival Parade, the entry-level t-shirt Reveller’s Packs have sold out with a few full-costume packages still available. Keep your eyes peeled at M2KMAS in case more packages drop. Or, to find out more about Bounty’s great range of drinkable rums, visit Bounty Rum.
