The magic starts before you’ve even arrived at this Michelin-starred establishment. The restaurant is located at the top of the Gutsch Mountain and is reached by hopping on a cable car to take you to the top.

If possible, make sure you book a table on the spectacular terrace which doubles up as a viewing platform while you eat!

The menu consists of more regional dishes as well as dishes from French haute cuisine- the wine list is also particularly impressive!

Getting to Andermatt

The easiest way to get to Andermatt is by booking cheap flights to Zurich and arranging a transfer from there.

If you’re not using a private transfer, it’s always best to organise your transport from the airport in advance (if you’re staying at the Chedi- you can always hire one of their limousines!)

If you’re not using private transport or hiring a car, the best option is to take the train from Zurich Airport to Zurich Main Station and from there take the train direct to Andermatt. Total journey time is around 2.5 hours depending on the specific connections.
