Danielle Tobin’s Luxury gift guide for brides-to-be
I love wedding season; it’s my favourite time of year. I am honoured to be invited to a few weddings this year, so I wanted to write a gorgeous gift guide on the best bride-to-be gifts in the lead-up to the big day. I have searched high and low to find thoughtful and meaningful gifts; I hope this guide will inspire you!
Letterbox gift
Whenever I need a thoughtful, personalised gift, I instantly think of Biscuiteers! They have the most special letterbox gifts, designed to fit through your door. Inside are some beautiful hand-iced biscuits, which you can also personalise to give the gift-giving a special touch! They always come in a well-presented box, so you don’t have to worry about sending them directly to the receiver. The biscuits are available to order vegan and dairy-free too. If you place your order before 4 pm Mon-Fri, it will be next-day-delivery.
The night before the wedding gift
Every single bride-to-be needs an iconic satin Cami two-piece set! Not only are they a must-have item for weddings, but they’re also great to take on honeymoons! It’s the one occasion where they can leave the cartoon mix-match pyjamas at home and indulge in a brand-new pyjama set which feels luxurious on the skin. If you’re unsure about sizing, you can feel confident gifting this set as they have adjustable straps, an elasticated waistband, and a self-tie on the shorts. Three other pieces can accompany the set, a gorgeous ivory satin robe, a chemise and a short pyjama set.
Once you’ve tied the knot Gift
I wanted to find a non-gimmicky alcohol gift for the bride and groom to open once they had tied the knot, and I came across The Spirit Of Manchester and Distillery and immediately knew this was the perfect gift! This distillery produces over one million bottles per year, has an award-winning distillery tour and gin-making experience, and not only that, but they create amazing-tasting Gin! The ‘Tied the Knot’ bottle of Gin is in collaboration with the craft gin club, making it a limited-edition bottle which I thought would be even more special. It comes in a gorgeous glass bottle with bright-coloured Mozaic prints around the edges, looking expensive and chic.
Taste notes:
Refreshing citrus/floral
Elderflower
Juniper
Hibiscus
Creamy almond finish
How to serve:
Tonic and a wedge of lemon/lime

On the run-up to the wedding gift
Understandably, weddings can be very stressful, so on the run-up to the wedding, gifting a love n du happiness planner will make the most thoughtful gift for the bride-to-be. This journal is a brilliant self-development tool, helping to motivate and inspire you to maintain your happiness. It includes sleep and mood trackers, self-discovery activities, daily gratitude lists and cognitive-behavioural worksheets. The idea is to have 12 weeks of daily journalling, helping to organise your thoughts, inspire you, and help keep you accountable for improving your overall happiness. Love n Du has a wide range of planners and journals, one for every area of your life; they are great tools for improving your mental health and well-being.
Bride-to-be-brunch outfit gift
On the lead-up to the big day, it’s fun to keep in line with the wedding theme and opt for all-white outfits; whether it’s for cake tasting or afternoon tea, bridal shows or bridal lunches, Club L London has a great selection of perfect bridal-outfits! This white tailored blazer mini dress is a stunning choice; it has long sleeves, a tailored fit, and a detachable bow belt which gives the wow factor! Pair with gold strappy barely-there sandals, gold jewellery and a cute bag to finish off the look. They have the most stunning bride-to-be looks; they also have bridesmaid dresses; bridal jumpsuits and a wide range of hen and engagement party looks. This brand is fabulous because there is something for everyone, maternity, plus size, petite and tall; they have it all!

A gift to increase feelings of positivity
Bloomsbury Flowers is a premium flower brand in the heart of Covent Garden; they design, create and deliver bespoke bouquets for any occasion adding their stamp to the most beautiful flower arrangements. Nothing in this world screams dopamine more than a bunch of flowers. Receiving flowers is specifically known to increase the happy chemicals, dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin, in our brain, boosting our mood and making us feel calm. Having fresh flowers around your home can improve your overall well-being and positively impact your mood. At a time when stress levels can be higher, flowers make the perfect bride-to-be gift, helping to reduce stress and promote positivity. The colour of the year is Viva Magenta promoting universal harmony, power and happiness!
The week before the wedding gift
Treating the bride-to-be with a luxury pedicure before the wedding is a must-have beauty treatment; if you’ve bought the iconic Jimmy Choo wedding shoes, you’ll need a Foot Logix medical pedicure by Young LDN! This particular treatment is perfect because it gives the bride a chance to relax whilst being pampered. Your feet get immersed in a medical solution which helps to soften and exfoliate the feet with an added massage to help increase circulation. They’ll then pamper you with a moisturising cream to hydrate and nourish your feet.
The ultimate relaxation gift
For the ultimate pampering facial before the wedding, Natura Bisse has a pure air bubble pop-up spa on the penthouse terrace of the iconic Nobu Hotel Shoreditch. Gift the bride-to-be a 50-minute citrus essence facial to help put her into total relaxation where she can unwind and get the pampering she deserves. The tent bubble holds 99% pure oxygen, helping to enhance all of the great benefits of your facial. The facial itself is incredibly meditative; from the moment they’re on that bed, they’ll feel so calm and relaxed. Getting a facial before the wedding is a good idea as your skin will get all the hydration it needs, leaving it looking extra glowing and fresh, ready for the big day. They will also get expert advice on their skincare needs and get looked after by the fabulous team at Natura Bisse.
A gift to remind her of her special day
I read an article once where a bride gifted all her bridesmaids the same perfume, she wore on her wedding day; the concept behind it is that whenever she smells this fragrance, the association will transport her back to the happiest day of her life. Givenchy L’Interdit intense is an alluring scent with top notes of Vanilla, tuberose, orange blossom and patchouli; it’s feminine yet sensual and would make a memorable wedding day scent, perfect for the bride-to-be.
