What are some of the most luxurious cars in 2022?
If you’re putting in a lot of miles on the road, then you might want to make the investment in a luxury car. That way, you’ll be able to travel in style and comfort. If your pockets are deep enough, then you might even consider it worth investing in a car of this sort even if you don’t have very far to travel.
Luxury cars tend to be more expensive (naturally), but they also tend to hold onto their value, especially if you’re buying a used one to begin with. When considering your budget, you should make sure you account for ongoing costs, tax, petrol etc.
Let’s take a look at some of the cars that might be worth looking into at the luxury end of the market.
Mercedes S Class
Mercedes is a brand that’s synonymous with elegance and engineering excellence. The experience of driving an S-class is just about peerless. You won’t feel any rumble from the road underneath you, and you’ll barely hear the engine until you decide to open up the throttle. If you opt for the long-wheelbase model, then you’ll benefit from plenty of extra room in the back.
Rolls Royce Phantom
Often used to pick up wedding parties and ferry dignitaries from hotels to conference centres, the Rolls-Royce Phantom is built around a slightly staggering 6.75-litre V12 engine. As such, it’s a pleasure to drive as well as a pleasure to inhabit.
Depending on the options you pick out, you might expect your Phantom to set you back more than three hundred thousand pounds. The car is fairly massive – but a range of clever features make it easy to manoeuvre even at high speed.
Bentley Continental GT
The newest version of the Bentley flagship vehicle is built around a Porsche Panamera, tailored to meet the exacting requirements of Bentley drivers. It’s at the top of its class in just about every respect you can imagine – other than price. With that said, the seats at the rear of this car are surprisingly cramped. As such, it’s more suitable for individuals than for families.
Land Rover
This 4×4 is popular with affluent countryside-dwellers. It can tackle a range of hostile terrain, while keeping the occupants snug and comfortable. What’s more, it’s much more affordable than some of the other luxury names we’ve already discussed.
