As a bit of background, Empreinte specialises in corsetry and is designed for ample busted women. Empreinte was founded by Jean Le Her, a pharmacist who had often been approached by women struggling with their fuller figures in 1946 in Brest, France. In 1998 Empreinte was taken over by Philippe Berthaux, injecting a new dynamism and driving force into the brand.

Designed for those with an ample bust, Empreinte offers bigger cup sizing starting from 32C, going up to a 46H cup size. For those with a D cup Empreinte also offers a 30D cup size.

Their personalisation and fitting service offer’s an unusual, innovating experience for customers who are given the opportunity to customise their lingerie with their initials, bows, tassels and additionally customers are able to add a short message to the low elastic at the back of the bra. The atelier for personalisation services is located within the Empreinte store on South Molton Street.
Empreinte additionally offer a swimwear collection for C cup upwards, as well as their first launch for sportswear the IN-PULSE range of sport chic lingerie which combines simplicity with a modern graphic vibe. All of Empreinte’s cutting and all quality control, as well as a part of the sewing takes place at the Empreinte factory in Brest, France.
